Hey, y'all! It's been awhile, hasn't it?

This is my trade half for the talented ~ChiffonSigh of her character Dalena Akamatsu.

I'm really proud of this picture for two reasons: One, it's something of a milestone. Anyone's who's read my journal (and noticed the lack of updates in, what, a few months now?) knows I've been in a funk. Well, I'm out of it now, and this can attest to that! And two, it's my first completely-drawn-by-me background! I'm really proud of the ripples around her leg and against the sand mound ... island ... thing? she's sitting on.

I know her eye isn't colored in ... ~ChiffonSigh didn't specify what eye color she had in her reference, so I sent her a note asking. When she replies, I'll fill it in for her. :)

EDIT: Colored her eye. :)

Its good to see you in such better spirits these days, Allison. What can I say on the picture but Fan-fooking- tastic!! xD
The colorings, the backround, and even the little things(do I see a minor tan line on her back?).
I told you, you would find a great way to do this.
