Description

Hahaha. I'm a dork.

This is my halloween lupe on Neopets named SpiritOfHallowsEve (totally original name, right?) made on Halloween Day. Yeah, this pic is a little late to fit the season, but better late than never, right?

Meh. Iffy on the drool.

EDIT -- Got rid of the drool. It just wasn't workin' for the pic, you know?

*Laughs* It's been a long time since I've seen neopets kicking around. I used to have a blue Lupe as well, CrystalBane. ^_^ Who doesn't want the most noble of all neopets?

You've done a gorgeous job on the foreshortening. The extended hand and footclaw on the left side have a lovely shape, and the claws on them are just wicked. The glowing pupil-less eyes are a neat effect and it looks very happy to be nearly tearing us apart. To be honest, the thing that caught my eye with this one is the fact that it looks quite traditional in it's colouring style. It could have been done in deep watercolours and ink. Lovely stuff. : )

There's not much in the way of critique exept that the toes underneath it look a little off for some reason... Perhaps it's simply the way they're bent... to me it looks as if that foot is the same distance away (if not further back), meaning the foot would be bent at a stronger angle. So, the toes technically should have as much of that 'circle' look as they do on the other foot, if you know what I mean, but they seem to be incomplete circles leading the eye to believe that the foot is flatter.

If you're able to follow that, I salute you. But I hope you get an idea of what I'm trying to say. XD

Either way, it's a lovely piece. The colours blend together wonderfully.

Cheers,
